How to access:

By car to University Medical Center Göttingen
Leave Autobahn A7 at exit Göttingen Nord (no. 72). Follow the sign posts in the direction of Göttingen-Weende / Braunlage until you reach the end of the motorway feeder / crossroads with B27 - Hannoversche Straße (first traffic lights). Cross Hannoversche Straße and follow the B27 in the direction of Braunlage. After approximately 300 meters, turn right towards "Klinikum" onto Robert Koch Straße. Follow the signs to the car parks (P1 for main entrance, P9 for east entrance).


By car to Max-Planck-Institute of Experimental Medicine
Approach Göttingen on the Autobahn A7. Leave the Autobahn at the exit "Göttingen Nord" and proceed on the federal road B 27.
After about 1 km, turn right towards "Universitäts-Klinikum".
The Institute is located 800 m ahead, directly across the street from the university hospital (Klinikum). You will need to turn right at the second set of traffic lights.


By plane / train
From Frankfurt Airport
Take the ICE train directly to Göttingen from the Long Distance Train Station (Frankfurt(M) Flughafen). Alternatively, take a local train (S-Bahn) to Frankfurt am Main Central Station (Frankfurt Hbf), and then change to an ICE train to Göttingen.

From Hannover Airport
Take a local train (S-Bahn) to Hannover Central Station (Hannover Hbf) and then take an ICE-train to Göttingen.

In Göttingen
On arrival in Göttingen, the best way to reach the University Medical Center is by taxi (10 minutes).
Alternatively, you can take Bus lines 21 (towards "Nikolausberg"), 23 (towards "Faßberg"), 41 (towards "Weende-Ost"), or 42 (towards "Papenberg") and exit the bus at the bus stop "Klinikum".
